We are students and life-long learners, young and old and in-between.  We are rich and poor, intrepid volunteers and activist citizens, old-generation Seattleites and new transplants.  We are a diverse community learning and working together in support of the Queen Anne Food Bank family, and we invite you to join us!

We think that the old-fashioned adage that “by giving you receive” is really true.  By standing alongside a neighbor – whether we’re giving money, time or talent – we join a community that cares for itself.  We recognize that we all have needs of different kinds as we journey through life together.  Be an agent of change with a gift from the heart to the Queen Anne Food Bank.

Our Mission

The Queen Anne Food Bank at Sacred Heart provides healthy food assistance to low-income and homeless people in Seattle. We serve every person that comes to our door and others in need without discrimination and with the utmost respect for their dignity.

  • Hours of Operation

    Sack Lunch  -  Monday-Friday

     8:30 am - 11:00 am

     

    Food Bank  -  Thursdays

     2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

  • Disabled Access

    There are 15 stairs leading down to the Food Bank.  If you are unable to navigate these, we can bring lunch and/or groceries up to you.  When you arrive, please speak with the Greeter at the Food Bank’s main door on street level.

  • First-time Clients

    Please bring a photo I.D. and a current rent receipt showing proof of address residing in one of the following Zip Codes:  98109, 98119, 98121, 98101

  • Guidelines

    Once registered, you may come once per week to receive groceries. We expect everyone involved in the food bank - volunteers, staff and those using the food bank - to respect others just as they can expect to be treated with respect.
